Never selling my 2006 5.9

These 3rd gen 5.9’s are going to be the future collectors! I just had my 2005 one owner 3500 short bed 6spd g56 slt professionally appraised and it came in at 43,000. I paid 45,000 for it in 2005. This just gives you an idea how valuable these trucks are. I have a 2021 limited f350, and it’s amazing to take on long road trips, but now where near as fun or engaging to drive as my 05 5.9.

I’ve noticed the seatbelt thing on my 4th gen. And I think it starts chiming when you get above 5mph

if you have a diesel truck and are worried about voiding your warranty...just buy a cheaper diesel truck you can actually afford when it breaks and you'll be much happier.

the only truck ive wanted that you've given away was the white 3rd gen that was actually built. Every other truck is just some old stocker I don't even want

I have a 2020 Tradesman gasser with those same tires from factory and I pull a trailer everyday for work and I’m on a third set and my truck has 60,000 miles. I started buying the Firestone tires used on marketplace for next to nothing from people that took them off their Rams right after they bought it new so if I get two years out of my tires on my work truck I’m okay with it. Also my hemi gets 7mpg pulling an 9,000 lbs trailer, 🤮. I just bought a diesel pre-emission so pulling my trailer with my hemi is soon over!

I worked at a dodge dealership for a few years and I can say it’s not your fault the tires are wearing fast they are just not a good tire. A lot of people hate the factory tires and replaced them as soon as they bought the truck.

I've had a 5th gen 5500 for 45,000 of the Hardest miles in two years you could ever imagine on a truck .. pulling some of the heaviest loads out there put on a truck... It gets ran super hard up and down Mountains on some of the most Remote locations in the drilling industry...it's holding up amazing . My 3rd gen Has 1000 HP but I have to Baby it . And Run through the Wallet 😂 the 5th gens are the Future 3rd gens and 1st gens. They are pretty good trucks .

48RE Trans is trash. No surprise I got a 05 Ram 2500 5.9 cummins. 9K for block replacement and 4K for trans rebuild. Recent tow to go camping Waste Gate actuator fell out of turbo. WTF

that is my dream truck
